Barbaric - Barbarrel Whiskey Blend - 150g

A Thai coffee from the Barbaric roastery at an omni roast: a balanced roast that works both ways, pulled as espresso for a cohesive shot or brewed as filter for something lighter and clearer. Thailand is not an origin you run into every day, and a small bag is a comfortable way to get to know it.

The 150g pack is the size you finish while it is still at its freshest, which is exactly what you want from a small specialty batch. For espresso, start with 18g in for about 36ml in 28-32 seconds; for filter, 15g to 250ml at 93°C with a 30-second bloom, then move the grind finer or coarser until you land on maximum sweetness. Grind it fresh for every brew and keep the bag sealed away from light and heat.
