The Roastery - Strawberry Infusion - 250g

Single-origin Ethiopian beans at an omni roast. The name promises a strawberry character — the roaster's own name for this lot — so expect a berry sweetness leading the sip. Pull it as espresso and that sweetness concentrates; brew it as filter and it opens up and reads clearer.

The Roastery is a Saudi roaster, and the omni roast means the same bag serves both the espresso machine and the dripper without switching. For espresso, start at 18g in to 38g out in 27 to 30 seconds; on a V60, 15g to 250ml at a medium grind with 92–94°C water. Grind only what you need before each brew to keep the bag at its best.
