Piccolo - Dunga - 250g

A fruity Ugandan coffee that opens on strawberry and mango, then settles into milk-chocolate sweetness with a tea-like finish. The body is medium and the cup is clean and lively, with an 87-point cup score.

The lot comes from the Bugisu region of Uganda at 2,028 meters, anaerobically natural-processed, which is where that fruit depth comes from. Piccolo roasts it medium and omni, so it works as filter or as espresso: for filter start at 1:16 with 92C water to lift the strawberry, and for espresso dial the grind until the shot lands near 30 seconds to reach the chocolate sweetness. Grind it fresh for every brew and keep the bag sealed away from heat and light.
