A glass brewing kettle on an electric base: water is lifted from the bottom of the jug to the stainless strainer at the top and falls back evenly over the coffee or the tea leaves, which is what Lepresso calls Fountain Brewing. The maximum is 1000 ml, and the glass itself is marked 1000 mL MAX, 800 mL 'Tea MIN / Coffee MAX' and 500 mL 'Boiling MIN'.

The front panel reads the temperature in degrees Celsius and carries eight modes: Cleaning, Pu-erh, Coffee, Boiling, Dark Brew, Black Brew, Scented Brew and Hot Plate. A Temp/Time key, a Function/Cancel key and a rotary knob sit under the display. Rated 1000 W at 220 V, 50 Hz on a UK 3-pin plug, and the hot plate holds the drink warm for about 30 minutes.
