A slim capsule machine — 83 mm across — that takes Nespresso capsules behind a 19-bar pump and a 1200 W heater. The water tank holds 550 ml, the used-capsule container takes six to eight capsules, and the whole machine weighs 2.2 kg.
It is run by a lever: raise the handle, drop a capsule into the window, lower it again. There are two buttons, espresso and lungo. The volumes are stored in the machine — about 40 ml and about 110 ml — and are reprogrammed by holding the button until the cup is where you want it, within 20-70 ml for espresso and 70-130 ml for lungo. It powers down by itself after 10 minutes, and the drip tray and capsule container pull out for rinsing; the manual asks for the container to be emptied every six to eight shots.
