An electric moka maker in 304 stainless steel, built as a single 220 mm column 75 mm across and weighing 716 g: a boiling cup at the bottom carrying the display and the one button, the coffee funnel above it, then the upper cup that receives the coffee, then the lid. It runs on 12 V from a car socket at 100 W, or on 220 V at home at 180 W.
The boiling cup takes cold water up to 150 ml, the grounds go into the funnel untamped, the upper cup screws on and one press starts it; the display shows the temperature while it works and three beeps say the coffee is ready. Extraction takes 5 to 8 minutes. The same display reports faults: E0 for no water, E1 and E2 for low or high supply voltage, EE for a temperature-sensor fault. The upper cup and the lid wash under running water or in a dishwasher, while the boiling cup is only wiped and never immersed.
