A conical burr grinder in ceramic — the only one of our Lepresso grinders whose burrs are not steel — which grinds cooler and, the maker says, keeps the aroma. It runs on a 7.4 V, 800 mAh lithium cell at 18 W, fills in three hours, and weighs 550 g at 83 mm across and 189 mm tall.
The bean container holds 30-35 g and the grounds container 35-40 g. The maker states that one charge grinds enough for 40 cups and that a cycle finishes inside two minutes. Coarseness is set by twisting the knob from coarse to fine, and the ceramic burr and the grounds container both come off for cleaning with a brush, the container under running water.
