An Ethiopian single origin from Forty Road Roastery, carrying the Beloya name. Ethiopia is the original home of coffee, and its coffees are usually met black so the cup reads on its own terms. This is a 250g bag of specialty coffee, best ground at the moment you brew rather than days ahead.
Start on filter, a V60 at 1:16 with a medium grind and water around 93°C; a conservative recipe that shows you the coffee honestly before you tune it. Coarsen the grind a touch if the acidity comes through sharp, go finer if the cup tastes flat. Drink the first cup black, and keep the bag sealed somewhere dry, away from heat and sunlight.
