Give yourself a lush, sweet Colombian cup that layers banana and vanilla over chocolate and brown sugar. These single-origin Castillo beans are roasted to work equally well as espresso or filter, so you get smooth sweetness and a balanced body in every brew.
The beans come from the Buenos Aires farm in Quindío, near Armenia, grown at 1,200 to 1,700 meters and tended by the Arcila family, a long line of Colombian coffee growers. The harvest went through anaerobic honey processing, fermented for up to 72 hours with the mucilage left on the bean, then dried on raised beds for a distinct fruity depth. Pull it as espresso for a sweet, concentrated shot, or brew it on a V60 to open up the banana and vanilla notes.
